Faucet Company Receives Recognition for Manufacturing Practices
March 10, 2015
Newport Brass has been recognized as a member of the Made in California program awarded by the non-profit organization California Manufacturing Technology Consulting (CMTC). CMTC promotes the importance of California companies’ manufacturing processes by working closely with state and federal legislators, including the U.S. Department of Commerce.
Newport Brass has more than doubled in size since the brand’s introduction in 1989. Its parent company, Brasstech Inc., was already established in 1987. Newport Brass has become known for excellent service, fast delivery turnaround time and was one of the first companies to offer a multitude of finishes for its product lines, including one of the first facilities to implement PVD processing in-house.
“We are pleased to partner with the Made in California program,” said David Emmons, marketing director for Brasstech, Inc. “CMTC has recognized our company as manufacturing faucets and fixtures within California. With a broad dealer network nationwide, our track record proves that our business model is top notch. However, being recognized by the Made in California program will help increase our company visibility even further as well as reinforce and support our commitment for manufacturing in the state.”
