German kitchen manufacturer bulthaup will move the company’s U.S. headquarters from Roseland, New Jersey to Los Angeles as of March 31, 2013. As part of the move, Charlotte Myhr has been appointed the company’s new U.S. chief operating officer (COO).

“Our company-owned showrooms and retail partners throughout the U.S. have been experiencing strong sales growth…a trend I expect to continue as we see the housing market and overall economy recover further,” said David Westover, bulthaup’s U.S. CEO. “Moving the headquarters to Los Angeles (which is an important market for bulthaup and site of the company’s first U.S. showroom), appointing Charlotte Myhr to the position of COO and a number of other exciting announcements we have planned in coming months are all part of building on that momentum and continuing to strengthen the bulthaup brand nationwide.”

Myhr has been an integral part of the bulthaup Los Angeles showroom since its opening in 1990. Coupled with her earlier experience at the London’s bulthaup showroom, she has worked with the company for nearly 30 years. Based in Los Angeles, she will assist in strengthening the company’s brand and its current domestic growth trajectory.
