Global Kitchen Concepts and Kathy Ireland Bring Showroom Experience to People’s Homes

April 17, 2020

Global Kitchen Concepts | kathy ireland (GKC | kathy ireland), the largest independent seller of European kitchens in the country with 16 showrooms nationwide and growing, has introduced the virtual kitchen design experience, available complimentary to everyone observing Stay-At-Home. The announcement was made by Mayan Metzler, Founder and CEO of GKC | kathy ireland.

“All of us at GKC | kathy ireland believe in using our resources to give back to our community, during good times and during challenging times, like we are experiencing now,” says Mr. Metzler, who is also the founder of MyPlanet, a charitable non-profit focused on housing and medical support. “To that aspect, GKC | kathy ireland is making their team of kitchen designers available for online, in-home design consultations in order to empower families by working with them on virtually creating their dream kitchen. As the kitchen is the heart of the home, where family members find themselves gathering at, celebrating, sharing stories and laughter, where they create fond and happy memories of a lifetime, we created a virtual experience that the entire family can participate in, and one that will also conjure up happy and positive memories as well, even during these times.”

In 2019, kiWW partnered with GKC to establish 17 branded designer kitchen showrooms throughout the United States. Global Kitchen Concepts | kathy ireland currently carries exclusive, high-end kitchen collections by European brands Leicht, Stosa Cucine, TEAM7, Charles Yorke and Pianca.

“At this time when millions of Americans are staying at home, GKC | kathy ireland is focused on bringing a sense of normalcy and happiness into our homes,” said Ireland, chair, CEO and chief designer of kathy ireland Worldwide. “The GKC | kathy ireland virtual experience is a fun family activity which gives families access to some of the top kitchen designers in the country, allowing them to virtually design their dream kitchen.”
