HOUZER Announces Peter Raleigh as New CEO

HOUZER, A Division of Hamat Group, is pleased to announce that Peter Raleigh has been named its new CEO. Peter, an alumni of the State University of New York College at Brockport, started his 30 years in the industry with Kohler and was most recently with Rohl prior to joining Houzer. Tyler Byun, the founder of HOUZER, who has retired after a successful 25 year career dedicated to making Houzer an innovative, respected brand and driving force in the kitchen sink category.
“Our idea when we started our search for a CEO was to bring to HOUZER someone with significant and successful brand experience in the market. Peter’s diverse background with some of the biggest names in the kitchen and bath industry made him a perfect fit for the direction Houzer will be taking.” Said Roy Regerman, CEO, HAMAT GROUP LTD.
Houzer was recently acquired by Hamat Group, an Israeli company consisting of 4 divisions including Harsa, world renowned sanitary-ware manufacturer of fireclay sinks and Hamat, one of the world’s leading faucet manufacturers with a 70 year history of quality and innovation.
As CEO of HOUZER, Peter will be responsible for managing the growth and direction of HOUZER as it elevates its position as a leading supplier to the kitchen and bath industry by expanding into new product categories beginning with the new HOUZER Faucet Collection coming in the Fall of 2017.
