John J. Jenkin is the new CEO of the US branch of Leucos, an Italian company manufacturing glass decorative lighting fixtures. Known in the industry as “JJJ”, Jenkin can boast ample experience as a manager in some of the most prestigious international design and lighting companies; he took on his new role at Leucos New Jersey office on Sep. 5.

A passionate lover of design with a predilection for decorative lighting, John J. Jenkin has been, among other things: CEO of Italian Creation Group (an industrial holding company including Driade, Valcucine, FontanaArte and Toscoquattro); Executive Vice President at Kartell USA (until 2014); Export Manager for Foscarini; Area Export Manager for Luceplan.

His mission at Leucos is to maintain and enhance the existing assets, such as the strong bond with tradition, the attention to detail and the natural inclination to luxury, in order to broaden and give new impetus to the business overseas.

From the commercial point of view, the target is to consolidate and expand the existing sales network by taking all of the chances the industry has to offer. As the company’s Global Marketing Director, he will also be in charge of developing the commercial strategies for Europe and Italy. Under his guidance, the US and the Venice offices will work in perfect harmony, taking into account the specific needs of each market and seizing the opportunities they present as a cohesive business identity, with a common language and a shared goal: to promote the style and values of LEUCOS worldwide.
