Paintzen Announces Benjamin Moore as Official Paint Supplier and Digital Collaborator

November 23, 2015

Paintzen, the on-demand home and office painting service, announced Benjamin Moore as its official paint supplier. The collaboration goes into effect immediately for customers in Paintzen’s active metropolitan markets, such as New York and San Francisco. The paint will be sourced from local Benjamin Moore retailers in an effort that will boost the brand’s exposure to a demographic that prefers to shop online.

Paintzen, which closed a $7.2 million Series A round led by Bullpen Capital in September, manages the entire painting process online, from paint selection and quotes to booking and payment. All of Paintzen’s painting contractors are insured and have undergone background checks, and the company has a full team of project managers at the ready.

“When it comes to providing customers with an absolute premium painting service, we know that the products used are just as important as the people completing the job,” said Paintzen Co-Founder and CEO, Mike Russell.  “For that reason, we couldn’t be more excited to be exclusively offering paint and paint products from the most beloved brand in the industry. This partnership is also exciting for Benjamin Moore’s network of independently owned and operated local retailers who will directly benefit from this order and sales process.”

Benjamin Moore premium products including Aura, Regal Select, Natura, ben and Ultra Spec will be offered through the online platform for all consumer’s painting needs.

“The online sales channel offered by Paintzen’s on-demand services will bring a new customer demographic and enhanced sales opportunities to the existing network of Benjamin Moore local independent retailers,” said Benjamin Moore EVP Sales, Dan Calkins. “We’re pleased to offer our retailers the opportunity to generate sales and grow their customer base through the Paintzen digital platform.”
