The National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA), the authority on all things residential kitchen and bath in North America, announced that Sub-Zero, Wolf and Cove will return as a sponsor to its Student Chapter and Students of the Industry programs in 2021, for a third straight year.

The NKBA and Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove have a shared vision of investing in the professional development of each chapter student and providing avenues for education mentorship. This partnership lays the groundwork for developing future creative talent and serves to engage students in a practical and meaningful way.

“We are grateful for Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove’s continued support of our Student Chapter and Students of the Industry programs,” said Suzie Williford, NKBA’s executive vice president & chief strategy officer. “Thanks to this sponsorship, our student members receive the tools and support they need as they continue on their educational journey. Supporting student membership in NKBA exposes these aspiring industry professionals to our array of member benefits and builds a strong foundation for the future. Sub-Zero Group has long been a loyal supporter of our student programs and shares our commitment to professional development and nurturing the students of today, who will be the specifiers and designers of tomorrow.”

Students of the Industry provides free NKBA membership to students in higher education (college and university) and the Student Chapter sponsorship provides financial support for student chapters at NKBA Affiliated Schools, also at college and university level. By joining one of these chapters, students can support their peers looking to jumpstart their careers, network with industry professionals and participate in educational activities. There are currently more than 2,000 Student Members, with around 135 Affiliated Schools and approximately 500 educators in the program.

“As membership in NKBA’s Student Chapters and Students of the Industry has steadily increased in recent years, we recognize the growing importance of our continued support of these invaluable programs,” stated Jim Bakke, president and CEO of Sub-Zero Group Inc. “Fostering a strong relationship with the design community — from the freshest young talent to the most-esteemed professionals — has always been of paramount importance to Sub-Zero Group. The mutual benefit of these programs is irreplaceable. Our proud sponsorship enables us to meaningfully assist students as they prepare for their careers in kitchen design, while offering us unparalleled access to the brightest future leaders of the industry.”
