Sugatsune Turns 80!
May 25, 2010
As Sugatsune celebrates their 80th anniversary, the company is reflecting on its past, beginning in 1930, when Tsunesaburo Sugasawara realized his vision of providing high-quality hardware by founding Sugatsune in Tokyo, Japan. Working over the years to find innovative solutions, the company was also the first to offer “Soft-Closing” hardware.
The Sugatsune motto is “Providing convenience to people” and the company works to keep this promise to its customers. Currently the company offers a variety of products including stainless steel hardware, stainless steel drawer slides, soft closing lid stays and hinges. The company will be celebrating it’s history at industry shows, distributor showrooms, and on their website. Sugatsune thanks their partners and customers, and is looking forward to many more years of providing needed hardware.
