The Living In Place Institute Announces Viega USA as First Preferred Industry Partner

The Living In Place Institute (LIPI), the educational entity behind the Certified Living in Place Professional (CLIPP) program, is pleased to announce its first Preferred Industry Partner – Viega. An international manufacturer of HVAC and plumbing solutions products and systems, Viega is committed to offering the finest service and product solutions including revolutionary approaches to designing for Living in Place.
“Our commitment to driving the industry with leading edge products, services and solutions makes the decision to be a Living In Place Preferred Industry Partner an easy one,” said Mark Brodie, director of marketing, Viega. “The products we supply in the plumbing space is important to delivering the products CLIPP professionals need to deliver accessibility, comfort and safety in the home. We are pleased to be an early adopter.”
The Living In Place Preferred Industry Partner program is designed to help manufacturers and marketers better align their products and services with the Living In Place Institute’s philosophy and programs. Two participation levels are offered that include a variety of educational, promotional and awareness-building efforts around the concept of Living in Place. Some of the benefits as a partner include brand participation in LIPI “Designing & Remodeling for Everyone” CEU events; both in-person and virtual, CLIPP or Living In Place Associate (LIPA) courses for staff; brand promotion in CLIPP training and education material and product highlights on the LIPI website and in marketing materials.
Louie Delaware and Erik Listou, co-founders of the Living In Place Institute, said they are excited that Viega has joined as a Preferred Industry Partner because Viega understands the value of the Living in Place concept. They expect the collaboration to raise awareness and understanding about the value of working with Certified Living in Place Professionals, as well as the importance of designing all homes for accessibility, comfort and safety.
