2019 Designs of the Year

September 5, 2019

KBB is pleased to announce the winners of our 2019 Designs of the Year competition! After reading through multiple submissions, our revered panel of judges chose the best kitchen, bath and showroom projects in our industry. Criteria included fulfilling client requirements, overcoming design challenges and incorporating innovative thinking.

This year’s award-winning projects ran the gamut in terms of creativity, size and design. Recurring themes included bathrooms as retreats, the importance of design for aging in place and well-being, spacious showers, personalization, bold uses of color, seamless cabinetry, mixed materials and textures, hoods concealed by cabinetry, open shelving and showrooms with the ability to display a variety of products and capabilities.

Our signature Kitchen, Bath and Showroom of the Year winners were awarded in the mix, which also includes second places. We also gave awards for Best Balanced Budget and Best Use of Color – with a few honorable mentions in the Best Use of Color and Kitchen categories.
