Interior design and architectural studio Deep River Partners has announced the promotion of Nicholas Blavat, AIA, to partner and shareholder.
Blavat joined Deep River Partners as a design associate 17 years ago, just five years after the company’s founding. His personal and professional growth, as well as his passion for the craft of residential architecture, has transcended him into a position of leadership for the firm.
“Nick consistently shows dedication to our company in any area that needs attention,” said Richard Sherer, CEO/founder of Deep River Partners. “He always demonstrates unwavering commitment to our clients, and more importantly a willingness to mentor and develop our team.”
Having earned his Master of Architecture degree from the School of Architecture & Urban Planning at the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee, Blavat is a licensed architect and holds an accreditation from the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB). He is an active member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), Milwaukee Chapter, is a current board member and served as past president of the Milwaukee Chapter.
“Throughout my career at Deep River, I feel Richard and I have always had a rapport based on respect and trust,” said Blavat. “This partnership has always been there and is now formalized in partnership to continue to take Deep River to new places. My dedication continues as will our story, for a long time to come.”
