Canyon Creek Cabinet Company has announced the promotion of Shad Cooper to director of supply chain management. Cooper has worked at Canyon Creek since 1994, and was most recently the assistant purchasing manager.

With more than 22 years of experience at Canyon Creek, negotiating vendor contracts, pricing and services along with managing supplier relationships, Cooper is uniquely experienced for this position. He also has many years of hands-on experience in using the company’s ERP system. In his new role, Cooper will manage all aspects of purchasing and materials planning and will be the point-person for the purchasing department as the company continues to grow. He will develop and manage corporate procurement, forecasting material management needs and coordinating inventory and supply plans with operations to ensure efficient warehouse operations.

“During this past year, Shad has done a remarkable job in not only performing the responsibilities of his own position, but has filled in for the director’s position when we needed him to,” said Rick Lovorn, vice president of operations for Canyon Creek. “He has successfully navigated through challenges, persevered and remained committed to his team and this organization.”
