New Sales & Marketing Director to Focus on Beko’s OEM Strategy

Arçelik, one of the world’s largest home appliance manufacturers, has promoted 34-year home and kitchen appliance industry veteran Chuck Bryant to director of OEM sales and marketing, for its fast-growing U.S. subsidiary, Beko Home AppliancesPreviously Beko’s OEM manager, Bryant will continue to drive & evaluate opportunities within Beko’s OEM strategy. 

In his expanded role, Bryant, will oversee the full life cycle of Beko OEM products and customers and direct all OEM product-related functions including sales, production oversight, communications, business development, design and engineering, quality, marketing and support. Reporting to Beko Vice President of Sales Peter Blackwell with a dotted-line relationship to Beko Vice President of Product Management Salih (Sazi) Bugay, he will be responsible for the design and implementation of Beko’s product marketing campaigns and lead communications with OEM partners, production plant R&D and other teams involved in the OEM strategy. 

“With Beko experiencing record sales growth, new dealer floors, and more new products in our pipeline than at any other time in our six years in the U.S., we need someone of Chuck’s caliber and experience to leverage this momentum,“ said Blackwell. “Chuck has the industry, OEM sales and multi-brand track record to capitalize on this very special time in our history to leverage Arcelik’s 66-year global brand equity in the U.S. to the benefit of all company stakeholders.” 

Bryant has more than 34 years of sales and product experience with the biggest brands in the home and kitchen appliance industry. He started his career with General Electric in Louisville, Ken., serving 16 years in various sales, merchandising and marketing roles before joining Bosch and Siemens Home Appliances in Huntington Beach, Calif., as general manager of refrigeration in 2004. 

From there, he served as vice president of refrigeration sales and marketing for Haier in New York, N.Y.; president of International Partnered Solutions, an appliance sourcing and distribution company in Louisville; and director of product development and strategy for LG Electronics’ Signature Kitchen Suite in Englewood Cliffs, N.J., before joining Beko as OEM Manager.

A graduate of the University of Louisville, Bryant received a bachelor’s degree in business administration before earning an MBA from the University of Alabama.
