REHAU Selects Senior Sales Director for Furniture Solutions

July 18, 2022

REHAU announced the appointment of Amanda Henrickson to the new position of senior sales director for furniture solutions. Reporting directly to the CEO of REHAU Americas, Dr. Thomas Troeger, Henrickson will oversee furniture division sales and customer service teams in the United States and Canada.

Henrickson, who brings to REHAU 13 years of experience with commercial interior product manufacturers in a myriad of sales roles, will focus on growing the company’s millwork and cabinetry business through a unified strategy and process consistency.

“We are pleased to welcome Amanda to REHAU, and I look forward to seeing how she applies her extensive sales and commercial specification experience to accelerate the growth of our furniture solutions division,” said Troeger.

As director of sales and marketing with Springs Window Fashions for the past three years, Henrickson worked extensively with architects, designers, developers and general contractors to win large commercial window covering projects, while also building brand awareness and growing the business through distributors. Among her accomplishments was incorporating sloped, motorized shades throughout the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health.

Prior to Springs, Henrickson served as director of sales with VT Industries, where she worked with commercial general contractors and distributors across the United States to provide top-quality veneered wood doors. During her 10 years at VT, Henrickson learned the business from ground up, starting in inside sales and working up to sales manager, then director – overseeing every aspect of the front-end processes including specifications, estimating, bidding, order entry, manufacturing, shipping, customer service and claims.

“I am proud to join REHAU’s very knowledgeable and tenured team, where I have been greeted with an overwhelming amount of support,” said Henrickson. “I am working to understand the current state in the different regions and define a clear, unified future state, supported by the specific tactics that will secure our sustainable long-term growth.

“I’m confident that my background with inside sales processes and outside sales territory management, along with a deep understanding of specification and project management within construction, will help the REHAU furniture solutions teams to reach new heights. I’m excited to see the growth opportunities we will bring about through simple process changes and a stronger emphasis on commercial spaces.”

Henrickson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in interior design from University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. Following her time at UW-Stevens Point, Henrickson attended Lakeshore Technical College for business management.
