February 17, 2021

Showplace Cabinetry Director of Manufacturing Jeremy Seykora has announced three experienced Showplace group leaders have been promoted to supervisor positions.

Joel Gutierrez is the new  Sub-Assembly and Assembly Production supervisor in the ShowplaceEVO manufacturing plant. He began his Showplace career in 2013 in the framed cabinetry facility in a variety of departments, including Trim, Build, Talls and Setup, gaining valuable knowledge of products and procedures. Gutierrez moved to the EVO plant as the CNC operator, was recruited into the Leaders in Training program and most recently was group leader of Cutting and Setup for ShowplaceEVO.

Another new supervisor in the ShowplaceEVO plant is Kyle Vanden Brink, working with the Sanding and Finish production department. Vanden Brink has been a material handler at the EVO facility since 2016, moving up to group leader a year later. In his supervisory role, he will oversee the work in the Sanding/Cutting, Paint/Finish, Small

parts and Specials departments at EVO, helping managers, other supervisors and group leaders meet production goals while maintaining a safe work environment.

Ryan Meins is the new supervisor of a newly created department in the Showplace framed cabinet plant, Sanding and Specials. Meins will oversee all sanding operations and the crafting of special cabinetry, assisting teams in troubleshooting equipment, process improvements and ensuring proper staffing and training. He began with Showplace in sanding in 2011 before moving to the cutting department, where he was most recently group leader for framed cabinetry.

“One of the strengths of Showplace Cabinetry is the way members of our leadership team move up through advancing levels of responsibility, acquiring expert knowledge of the Showplace product and our manufacturing processes,” Seykora said. “Joel, Kyle and Ryan have demonstrated their leadership skills and their commitment to Showplace.”

The newly promoted supervisors began their responsibilities Feb. 1, 2021.
