Thompson Traders Announces New VP of Marketing and Sales

March 8, 2021

Alejandra Thompson de Jordan joins her family as vice president of marketing and sales for Thompson Traders. With more than a decade of experience working with luxury brands and expertise in marketing and branding, Thompson de Jordan is honored to apply her knowledge and skills toward the continued growth and expansion of the company.

“We’re excited to bring Alejandra on,” said Alejandra Ochoa de Thompson, founder and creative director of Thompson Traders, who is Thompson de Jordan’s mother. “She will add an even greater emphasis on the customer journey, ensuring clients enjoy a luxurious experience from specification through installation and beyond.”

Thompson de Jordan has marketed some of the biggest names in beauty—Chanel, Armani and Lancome.

“Alejandra will lead Thompson Traders into a new era of growth, building brand recognition,” said Samantha Thompson Lizarraga, director and co-owner of Thompson Traders, who is Thompson de Jordan’s sister.

Thompson Traders has been eager to bring Alejandra into the family business for some time. Her new role will focus on promoting the glamour and prestige associated with owning a handmade Thompson Traders sink, vanity, tub or custom range hood.

“I’m excited to work in tandem with Alejandra to expand on and execute our business goals,” said Clifford R. Thompson, president of Thompson Traders and Thompson de Jordan’s brother.

In Thompson de Jordan’s new role, she will spearhead growing awareness of Thompson Traders’ artistry, as well as showcase how Thompson Traders pieces are made for a lifetime and can even be passed from one generation to another.

“I would like Thompson Traders products to become as coveted as any other high-fashion product,” she said. “And we want to welcome even more interior designers into the Thompson Traders family.”

In addition to her business credentials, Thompson de Jordan has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Emory University Goizueta Business School in Atlanta, a master’s of Cosmetics and Fragrance Marketing and Management from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City and studied French at La Sorbonne University in Paris.
