The Boffi Code washbasin by Victor Vasilev features a thin steel surface that enhances the technological character of the piece and suggests autonomy. Produced in stainless steel with gray PVD treatment, Code originates from Euclidean geometry and its application to the design of functional objects for everyday life. Vasilev investigated a simple cylinder to create a large basin that could hide technical parts. The purity of the shape and the design details, such as the linear cut used for the water waste, highlights the material qualities of the steel.
