So popular, in fact, that the company has opted to expand their initial offering to now encompass most tubs in their Designer Collection, including drop-ins, undermounts and Sculpted Finish tubs. DoloMatte is a luxurious addition to any bathroom with its distinctive snowy color, incredible tactile surface and on-trend matte finish that creates a pristine space that feels fresh, elegant and oh-so-calming.

Representing the latest in solid-surface technology, DoloMatte was introduced in mid-2021 with availability limited to freestanding tubs and low-profile shower bases. The resulting high demand made it clear that DoloMatte was a tremendous success. The thermoformed material is unique in its moldability and preparation process, which includes hand-finishing to create that impressive velvety texture. DoloMatte is crafted from a thick, American-made slab of solid-surface specialty polymers blended with ground minerals. The result is an easy-to-clean non-porous surface that is highly resistant to impact, scratches, stains, mold, mildew and UV damage.

DoloMatte joins other fine materials offered by MTI for bath fixtures: its signature Sculpture Stone®, Mineral Composite, and Acrylic CXLTM. All are made in the USA and intended to give customers and designers the broadest selection of materials to meet their needs. MTI partnered with American manufacturer Aristech in the development of the solid-surface slab used in the creation of DoloMatte products.
