Buster + Punch Welders Black Finish

Buster + Punch introduces Welders Black finish. Despite its location on the very end of the color spectrum, there is deep intonation and moods that can be achieved by shades of black. London-born home fashion label Buster + Punch is capitalizing on these nuances with its newest introduction to its line of styled finishes. Welders Black is a softer matte black that is made with an oxidized PVD finish, similar to a finish often found in haute watchmaking.

The PVD finish makes it abrasion resistant and slightly off-black, giving a warmth and texture to the high-end hardware for which Buster + Punch is renowned. Founder and creative director Massimo Minale founded the brand on the idea that ordinary parts of a home could be made extraordinary with intentional design. This addition to the brand’s line is a testament to that principle: by making simple black something more complex, the brand is continuing what it was founded upon.

Buster + Punch has always been inspired by London’s fashion, music and subculture trends, finding quality solid metals to craft its products, often inspired by other manufacturing processes. Welders Black is available exclusively for the brand’s new hardware introduction, the Linear door hardware range. The new linear knurl features an oval stalk that rediscovers the signature Buster + Punch look. Welders Black is a perfect counterpart to the voguish lines of the Linear range, bringing a welcome addition to the label.
