Renowned interior designer Tristan Auer has created the Lord mirror, a wall-mounted mirror for Miroir Brot that marries the company’s unique, historic know-how with the aesthetic codes of fine jewelry. In an elegant and timeless style, Auer has succeeded in designing a form whose pure and perfectly proportioned lines celebrate the excellence of Miroir Brot. The Lord Mirror consists of three interlocking brass rings, where the chromatic combination of pink, yellow and white reveals three of the finest metal finishes offered by the Maîtres Robinetiers de France, the group that includes four iconic bathroom and kitchen fittings, hardware and accessories manufacturers — Cristal&Bronze, Serdaneli, Margot and Miroir Brot.

With this new design, Auer brings to the fore a distinctive French savoir-faire that has been successfully renewed since the brand’s creation in 1826. He joins other leading names in interior design who have reinterpreted the brand’s know-how, including Pierre-Yves Rochon. The originality of the Lord wall-mounted mirror stems from the lighting that emerges from the interstice of the rings. A poetic reference to a crescent moon when lit, it fades into the background when switched off. A further detail is found in the two fluted side screws, inspired by the crown of a wristwatch, which finish the mirror. Lord is available in a range of combinations of two to three colors.
