DelightFULL Mirage Lamps

Draga & Aurel have always been fascinated by the retro-futuristic experimentation of Space Age design and fashion, which was clearly an inspiration for the Mirage lamps offered by Essential Home and DelightFULL. The lamp’s silhouette and the composition of the material, with the contrast of black lacquered metals and shining brass, remind us of the extravagant outfits of the club revelers of that incredible time.

In these lamps, opaque black lacquered metal meets brass and organic glass bulbs. The collection includes a suspension, floor, table and wall version. Mirage’s minimalistic industrial look makes it versatile and mysterious.

While designing the new Essential Home and DelightFULL Night Fever collection, Draga&Aurel drew inspiration from the late Seventies to Eighties— an era that brought together some of the most dynamic and avant-garde thinkers and makers across the world. Draga&Aurel has created a mix of patterns, materials, colors, shapes, and textures that express the desire to somehow break free from the superstructures, process the feelings of a past time and bring back something beautiful to behold and contemplate.
