KOHLER Lighting Tone Collection

The Tone Collection was part of the seven new series KOHLER Lighting presented at the 2022 Kitchen & Bath Industry Show. The collection features uncluttered shapes and clean lines, expertly crafted to complement surroundings, and make thoughtful, effective use of space. The Tone Collection nods to the sculptural works by Finnish-American architect Eero Saarinen, whose revolutionary designs included the still coveted Tulip Table, its teardrop form and artful, graceful shape evoking a natural elegance that inspired the sculpted simplicity infused throughout the Tone lighting designs.
Staying true to the mid-century modern principles of form, function and scale, the Tone lighting designs are a whole-home collection. The striking glass and brass silhouettes are minimalistic in approach with an unmistakable warmth and an air of understated sophistication.
The Tone Collection features a One-, Two- and Three-Light Sconce, a One-Light Flush Mount, a One-Light Pendant, a Four-Light Chandelier and an Eight-Light Linear Chandelier. Tone is available in a variety of colorways including two mixed metal finishes –Matte Black and Polished Chrome or Matte Black and Brushed Moderne Brass.
The Tone One-Light Sconce is a beautiful example of the collection’s interplay of materials and finish. The softly curved backplate supports a. sleek T-arm topped by a flared finial and suspends the stylized tulip clear glass shade, its exaggerated size contrasted by the overall minimalist design. The Tone One-Light Sconce is available in polished chrome, brushed nickel, brushed moderne brass, matte black, matte black and polished chrome, or matte black and brushed moderne brass.
The Tone-Two Light Sconce is a versatile, solution-driven design, with a unique creativity that adds to its overall elegance and charm. A single, rounded backplate raises slightly from the wall extending the sleek T-style metal arm support upon which two individual metal and stylized tulip glass shades are suspended, each topped with a flared final, completing the design. The Tone Two-Light Sconce is available in polished chrome, brushed nickel, brushed moderne brass, matte black, matte black and polished chrome, or matte black and brushed moderne brass.
