Florim Plimatech Collection

Florim presents the Plimatech Collection, which draws inspiration from the heights of the Val Martello in South Tyrol. Modeled on Plima granite, this series, characterized by Magnum Oversize slabs, combines the many technical and design advantages of porcelain stoneware with the natural patterning and texture of this extremely rare stone discovered in the 1980s. 

With Plimatech, Florim reinterprets the special features of this South Tyrolean pegmatite, characterized by its dynamic texture studded with brilliant crystal inclusions and mottled chiaroscuro. The aesthetic heterogeneity of natural stone is ideal for spaces conceived as a dialogue with their natural setting, both indoors and outdoors.

The collection is available in three colors — the typical gray-blue shade of Plima granite reinterpreted as Plimagray, plus two other colourways — one composed of shades of white as Plimawhite and the other of varieties of beige as Plimabeige, thus offering the designer a wide range of compositional options.   

The aesthetic heterogeneity of natural stone is reflected in the collection’s three graphic variants — one more minimal in character (01), softly veined and particularly suited, especially in the large size, to lending character to more restrained settings, and one with a more variegated appearance (02) with light shades tending to white, designed to give a rough, textured character to the space. The third is characterized by its large number of crystalline inclusions (03), that give it a more dynamic aspect.
