Margraf Fluctus Collection

January 13, 2022

Margraf has opened the Margraf Innovation Lab, a research and development department at its headquarters in Chiampo, Italy, and introduced the Fluctus Collection, a new selection of decorative 3D wall coverings that are steeped in metamorphic appeal.

The Fluctus Collection is inspired by the movement of waves in water and the impact that they have on the seabed. There are four different textures in the Fluctus Collection, each of which has been given an Italian name for a sea: Mediterraneo, Egeo, Ionio and Tirreno. The following materials are available: Crema Nuova, Grigio Carnico and exclusive Fior di Pesco Carnico, for which Margraf has the only existing quarry in the world.

Each texture is developed for a specific selection of materials. The coverings come in standard modules (80×80 cm, with a thickness of 2 cm) and have 3D matte and polished finishes that have a delightful visual effect thanks to the light that shines on them, thus showing the authentic beauty of marble from a dynamic perspective.

At the Innovation lab, age-old, first-rate Italian marble processing traditions are being revived for the new collection, which is part of Margraf’s intellectual property.
