Samsung Electronics America Inc. has launched the Chef Collection line of built-in appliances. Merging design and technology, Chef Collection brings Samsung’s home appliance features to the premium built-in category.
The Samsung Chef Collection includes features like flush-mounted wall ovens, beveled edges on cooktops and LED-illuminated knobs that can easily be seen from across the room. The collection’s modern, simple and sleek look is available in stainless or matte black stainless steel. The refrigerator and dishwasher are also panel-ready, so they can be customized to the specific aesthetic tastes of the homeowner as design preferences change over time.
Chef Collection packs technological features. All appliances in the line are Wi-Fi or Bluetooth enabled for connected control whether at home or afar. The Samsung Chef Collection 4-Door Flex Built-in Refrigerator features three View Inside cameras to enable the user to see what’s inside via a smart phone app. The 4-Door Flex also includes Flex Zone, a compartment that can easily convert from fridge to freezer with four temperature settings.
Chef Collection cooktops and range hoods feature bespoke cooking features, such as Virtual Flame technology on the induction cooktop that illuminates when it is turned on, giving the visual look and feel of real flame. Bluetooth enabled hoods automatically connect to the Chef Collection pro range and cooktop models, turning on in conjunction with the surface. In addition, Chef Collection offers Samsung’s exclusive Flex Duo Oven with smart divider. This feature can convert the oven compartment into two independent convection ovens that cook multiple dishes at different temperatures at the same time.
Less cumbersome packaging solutions and features like pre-drilled holes and easy leveling make installation of the Chef Collection fast. Installers can run Wi-Fi-enabled, remote diagnostic checks to ensure the appliance is functioning properly.
