L’Ottocento Living Kitchen

May 18, 2021

Warm conviviality and refined elegance are combined in the new Living furnishing system, designed for the kitchen and living room by L’Ottocento in collaboration with Makethatstudio.

The cherry wood lacquered anthracite grey, with its handcrafted workmanship, becomes the protagonist of these spaces, dominated by a linear design and great functionality. In the kitchen space, the equipped wall, made to measure at full height and enriched with a back in Calacatta Turquoise marble, is combined with the central island with its particular curved sides and with the top of the same marble.

Household appliances, areas for food preparation, cooking and washing can be distributed in both spaces, according to individual needs. The doors, with their soft and clean lines, together with steel handles with minimal geometry, give the kitchen area an enveloping material effect, one of great allure, further enhancing a timeless personality.

The same design idea continues in the living area, where the spectacular bookcase, personalized with open compartments and backs in Canaletto walnut, is completed with two large sliding glass doors, giving aesthetic lightness to the whole environment. The large One table, made in solid wood lacquered in black open-pore finishing, consists of whole planks and can be customized in length and color.

L’Ottocento’s kitchens and furniture celebrate a bespoke manufacturing that is completely Italian, combining elegance and efficiency. Fine wood and its expressive charm are at the heart of every creation, hallmarked by timeless style and quality. Wood represents an ethical choice as well as one of beauty, the encounter between well-being and sustainability. It is precisely around this noble raw material, and its design versatility, that the original and eclectic furnishing proposals by L’Ottocento for the kitchen and living space revolve, where one finds aesthetic research, technological innovation and Italian handcrafted savoir-faire.
