Richelieu introduced the Riverso Two-Way Drawer System at KBIS 2023, knowing that homeowners want smart solutions that maximize every inch of their spaces, making sliding drawer systems in demand – and on trend.

Riverso is a revolutionary concealed – and bi-directional – sliding drawer system that allows users to open a drawer from both the front and back of a cabinet, improving ergonomics, flow and the storage access experience. A damped closing mechanism facilitates one-sided push-open and soft close, enabling sleek, handle-less fronts. A smooth-running, synchronized full-extension rail with a 101.4-pound (46 kg) weight capacity provides ease of use and safety.

When installed in a kitchen island or room partition, Riverso’s two-way drawer provides full access to drawer cabinets from either side, optimizing flow and reducing unnecessary movement around the space. For example, users can store cutlery directly from the dishwasher on the kitchen side. When it’s time to set the table, the same drawer can be accessed easily from the eating area.

Richelieu’s new drawer fronts are customizable in all three dimensions, and the system can be installed in cabinets 21.65 to 36 inches (550 mm to 915 mm) wide and 20.86 to 35.43 inches (530 mm to 900 mm) deep – offering exceptional design flexibility.
