In addition to popular Vintage and Brushed Vintage finish techniques, Showplace Cabinetry has introduced Subtle Vintage, a new, sophisticated and fashion-forward look for overlay, inset and full-access cabinets. 

Subtle Vintage is a hand-applied finish method using a multi-step process to achieve understated vintage variations on any Showplace cabinet. A solid paint color or your choice of Showplace stain is brushed with Walnut or Black accents to create a feather-brushed texture, while allowing the characteristics of the wood grain to accentuate the look.

The Subtle Vintage finish from Showplace is available on a full array of standard stain and paint colors, more than a thousand Sherwin-Williams colors and the kaleidoscope of hues in the ColorSelect Custom palette. This special vintage finish is created with hand padding and dry brushing to create a distinctive impression of elegant aging. All Showplace stains and painted finishes feature the added advantage of a multi-layer process that includes an oven-baked finish coat.

The labor-intensive Subtle Vintage finish process re-creates the patina of age, presenting the illusion of heirloom cabinetry that has been appreciated for generations. Subtle Vintage is available with either the Showplace satin or matte furniture quality topcoat on your choice of wood with walnut or new black accents.
