When shimmering white crystals were first discovered in the hills north of Atlanta, the quarrying of Georgia marble began not long after in 1884. Polycor offers Georgia marble in five distinct colors: White Cherokee, Pearl Grey, Solar Grey, White Georgia and Etowah Fleuri. These marble deposits are some of the largest in the world and have literally built American history having been used in such landmark projects as the Lincoln Memorial, the U.S. Capitol and the Museum of Modern Art.
