Rockler Woodworking and Hardware

November 25, 2013

Get rustic in the kitchen and bath with Rockler Woodworking and Hardware’s Reclaimed Route 66 lumber. Sourced from the decks of tractor trailer trucks that travel across the U.S. each day, including on Route 66, the wood bears the marks of use that impart a unique weathered appearance. The planks are a mix of red and white oak and measure six feet in length and 12 inches wide. The edges are dotted with blackened holes where bolts were torched out. The bolt holes can be left as is for character or trimmed off if desired. The lumber retails for $5.99 per board ft.
