When a water test detects specific contaminants in the municipal water supply such as Arsenic V, Cysts, Chromium 6, Fluoride, Lead and / or high levels of “Total Dissolved Solids,” a homeowner needs to go beyond carbon filtration to add a reverse osmosis system to ensure water quality. The new Enviro Water Products Reverse Osmosis (RO) Pro 6-Stage System features a lightweight, compact 14-in.-deep design that saves precious under counter space and is offered in choice of a chrome, brushed nickel or oil rubbed bronze faucet. The six-stage system is comprised of a four-stage pre-filter with a membrane and post-filter housed in a single cartridge and the fifth and sixth stage is an in-line carbon filter and calcite cartridge, which is placed between tank and faucet. Enviro’s RO system includes hygienically sealed filter cartridges, which require no tools to replace and color-coded fittings for a quick install.
When compared to traditional RO systems, Enviro‘s system delivers, on average, 30 percent more flow from the faucet and the 50 gallons per day (GPD) membrane quickly refills the storage tank. Using the latest in system design and membrane technology, Enviro’s RO system reduces the amount of water down the drain by 50 percent. In addition, Enviro Water Products Pro RO two-stage post-filter offers a carbon/mineral filter inside that adds back in the essential minerals (calcium and magnesium) to the drinking and cooking water which are often removed from standard RO systems.
