Humbert & Poyet Villa Riviera Collection

Humbert & Poyet has introduced Villa Riviera with French company Nobilis, a new collection of outdoor furniture designed by Emil Humbert and Christophe Poyet. The design duo have enjoyed pushing the boundaries and crossing genres and aesthetics since the studio’s debut in 2007. Based between Monaco and Paris, Humbert & Poyet has been working to combine the elegance of French classicism with a very Italian fantasy as in this current revival of the Riviera style. 

Accustomed to using outdoor fabric in their interiors for their water-repellent qualities as much as for their resistance, the founders of the Humbert & Poyet agency designed a collection for the furniture and wallcovering fabric company Nobilis that is all about vibrant geometries: volutes, arcs and sharp stripes. These designs, offered in a range of desaturated shades-saffron yellows, Mediterranean blue, rust, almond green, gray and white-collide, mix and match joyfully. The patterns are underlined by subtle plays on textures — here a curly thread borders a spiral, there a moss stitch for a vibration of color.

Renowned for traditional savoir-faire combined with technical innovation, Nobilis infuses sophistication and softness into the graphics of the collection. In addition to the innovative outdoor fabrics, the collection also includes a deceptively retro garden lounge with an armchair and a small two-seater sofa. These outdoor models are available in brown Iroko or white lacquered wood. Traveling to the Mediterranean, traveling through time, traveling between the outdoors and the indoors, the Humbert & Poyet collection for Nobilis opens up new horizons
