For the third year in a row, tech-enabled insights company 4Sight recognized the best product launches of 2020 across 10 consumer goods categories based on consumer reviews from more than 4,000 reviews.

In the competitive small appliances category, GE Profile‘s Opal 2.0 Nugget ice maker bested other noteworthy new launches. The Nugget has more than 1,400 reviews in less than one year- blowing past the category at a rate of nearly seven times the average.

The Evergreen Awards recognize new products with staying power in an otherwise ephemeral world of the latest but not always greatest. Product launches are brief, but the digital footprints they leave, especially product reviews, last much longer. Evergreens are based on two metrics – the total number of reviews (minimum 75) and the aggregate average star rating.

4Sight, based in Cincinnati, uses proprietary machine learning algorithms and expertise in consumer products to help brands grow via consumer-generated insights. Named a top startup to watch in 2021 by Cincinnati Business Courier, 4Sight was founded by former Procter & Gamble executive Mark Jeffreys in 2019.
