Houzz Opens Design and Architecture Scholarship Program Call for Entries

August 29, 2018

Houzz Inc., the leading platform for home remodeling and design, today announced the call for entries for Houzz Scholarships, a program that supports the next generation of residential design and architecture pros: students studying architecture, interior design, landscape architecture or construction management.

Houzz will award four $2,500 scholarships in the categories of ‘Women in Architecture’, ‘Residential Design’, ‘Sustainable Residential Design’ and ‘Residential Construction Management’. Houzz awards these scholarships biannually in the spring and fall, and is now accepting applications for spring 2018.

High school seniors, undergraduates, and graduate students 17 years of age or older are invited to apply at houzz.com/scholarships. In addition to submitting a brief essay on their design and architecture influences, students are invited to create a Houzz professional student profile, where they can showcase their portfolio of work and network with more than two million professionals around the world. The deadline for the spring 2019 scholarships is December 15, 2018.

“Houzz continues to invest in the future of home renovation and design by supporting our next generation of professionals,” said Liza Hausman, VP Industry Marketing at Houzz. “Our latest residential design, construction and architecture recipients of Houzz Scholarships provided thoughtful and inspirational viewpoints on their roles in our industry and we are excited to support each one of them on his or her journey.”
