With the demand for home renovations increasing drastically due to the pandemic, Case Architects & Remodelers relaunched its DIY online design service known as ibby (inspiration built by you), providing homeowners an easier path to professionally remodel their own bathroom spaces.

The reality of any bathroom remodel — whether it’s simple cosmetic updates or a complete redo — is the majority of time is spent measuring, reviewing and analyzing materials, products and finishes, which can be overwhelming and confusing to those who aren’t professional designers. By utilizing ibby, the idea is to make bathroom remodels more streamlined and approachable, allowing the consumer to review designer curated palettes that are preselected based on their bathroom project’s needs and personal tastes. They can also view a rendered 3D example of your space.

Another bonus, the service costs on average about 20% less than a typical renovation project, as the remodel itself is staying within an existing bathroom space — replacing plumbing fixtures and finishes — versus relocating an entire bathroom and having to reinstall hookups in a new location.

With ibby, the consumer can redesign their bathroom from the comfort of your couch and reduce overall contact with contractors and remodelers. Once a design is submitted, an ibby consultant from Case Architects & Remodelers will reach out to confirm selections. Install takes about two weeks; to put that in perspective, Case’s standard remodeling process could take one month just to confirm a space’s layout, design and materials alone.

Case Architects & Remodelers is offering ibby installations in select zip codes, however, the design examples are available to anyone to review as preparation for a bathroom remodel.
