Gaggenau Named Official Appliance Partner of Michelin Guide

May 10, 2022

Gaggenau, the luxury brand for professional-grade home appliances, has been named the Official Home Kitchen Appliance Partner of the Michelin Guide for the second year. This recognition reinforces the brand’s foundation and a commitment to build appliances based on the “professional kitchen principle.”

Working with leading professional chefs, Gaggenau develops intuitive and enabling technology for the residential kitchen allowing the home chef with the means and passion to produce professional results time and again with ease.

“Partnering with such an iconic culinary brand—the Michelin Guide— is the perfect symbiosis between the recognition of importance of gastronomy connected with our Professional Kitchen Principle,” said Heather Ryan, director of sales & marketing for Gaggenau North America. “For a professional chef, there is an increased level of expectation that comes with being awarded a Michelin star, and the best chefs desire equipment to perform the same or better as they have in their restaurant, which is at the core of what we enable for the home chef.”

The Michelin partnership builds on the brand’s commitment to celebrate talented artisans, producers and makers who strive for excellence in their field, especially chefs.

To better connect design and culinary excellence, Gaggenau has created a series of events especially for its Club 1683 clients called “A Taste for Design.” These events are built around design leaders’ engagement in rare opportunities focused on haute cuisine, architecture and design. Each event pairs a chef from a Michelin Star restaurant with a Gaggenau project to explore this intersection between culinary culture and design.

“As a global reference in cuisine for more than 120 years, Michelin is delighted to collaborate with Gaggenau,” said Nora Vass, director of food and travel experiences for Michelin. “We look forward to this opportunity to empower home chefs and artisans while increasing awareness of the Michelin Guide across the United States.”
