Hanwha Surfaces Expands North American Direct Distribution
October 25, 2017
Hanwha Surfaces, the North American subsidiary of the international conglomerate Hanwha L&C, announced that it will expand its direct distribution into t Los Angeles, San Diego and Las Vegas. Customers in these areas will be able to buy HanStone Quartz and Hanex Solid Surface products directly from the company’s distribution center in Cerritos, California.
Southern California and Las Vegas are natural choices for the company to move to the direct sales model. In addition to the warehouse, Hanwha Surfaces has an experienced sales team in the region. With the launch of a state-of-the-art second production line for HanStone Quartz in London, Ontario this fall and the new Hanex manufacturing facility in Texas in the summer of 2018, the company is able to get product to customers in these areas quickly and efficiently. The company’s first U.S. headquarters office was located in California, making it a familiar region to the company.
“Southern California has long been a national leader in design trends,” said Steve Becker, Hanwha Surfaces‘ vice president of sales & marketing. “Moving to a direct sales model in these cities will allow us to better serve our customers by offering stronger support, increased availability and efficiency in delivering our products.”
