Principle Faucets Step Foot Pedal

Principle Faucets, the California-based DTC brand, has developed a faucet system that works with a foot pedal. Similar to a gas pedal, it allows users to enjoy a truly hands-free experience at the faucet while staying cleaner, working faster and minimizing water waste by up to 44%.

The brand was founded when Matt and Lauren Wall were looking for ways to conserve water in a drought. With the help of a friend, they realized adding a foot pedal would potentially eliminate water wasted when letting the tap continuously run between tasks like washing dishes. Through trial and error, the trio developed two systems – The Step, which can be integrated with nearly all faucets, and Principle System, which are available in various finishes and styles.

The Principle System is available in three styles and finishes. The Step, which can be integrated with nearly all faucets, is also available in three finishes.
