Pet-friendly Hartco Dogwood Pro densified wood flooring sets a new standard in hardwood. Densified wood technology, developed by AHF Products, which was first introduced as Dogwood under the Bruce brand last year, is now available from Hartco under the name Dogwood Pro, exclusively to independent retailers.

Made in Somerset, Kentucky, this is 100% real wood – not a laminate surface – and offers real wood beauty, character, colors, textures and finishes, now better than ever.

The new flooring removes many of the obstacles preventing consumers from purchasing hardwood. Scratch and dent damage caused by dogs is a leading reason homeowners think they cannot have hardwood floors. Not anymore. Densified Wood lets homeowners enjoy real hardwood floors that are virtually worry free.

This new product offers longer and wider planks (60 inches long, in 6.5-ft. and 7.5-in. widths) and textured visuals with exceptional performance. The patented technology uses heat and pressure without chemicals, additives, fillers or plastic to create a revolutionary hardwood floor that is 100% real hardwood while being six times more dent resistant and four times more scratch resistant than typical hardwood.

The Dogwood Pro face veneer is up to six times thicker and waterproof for up to eight hours. When tested for indentation resistance by ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) D2394 standards – a 2-in. weighted metal ball is dropped from a 60-in. height and indent impact levels are measured – Dogwood Pro performed best. 

These floors also feature Cleantivity antimicrobial technology, which inhibits the growth of bacteria that can damage the floor, giving homeowners an added degree of confidence. Dogwood Pro Densified Wood floors come with a 50-year residential warranty and a 10-year commercial warranty.
