American Standard Appoints First COO

Effective March 2, American Standard Brands will have its first-ever chief operating officer in place. Michael Marchi has been appointed to the newly created role, in which he will be responsible for all retail and wholesale markets in the U.S., Canada and Latin America.
Marchi has more than 30 years of professional experience that is concentrated in building products. He comes from his most recent role as president and CEO of Amerock Hardware. Prior to that, he was president and CEO of Grohe Americas; president of Kohler Kitchen and Bath Americas; and a senior executive at Ann Sacks Tile and Stone, Citibank and General Electric.
“With his expertise in the building products and plumbing industries, along with his Grohe experience, Mike will be an incredible asset to our company,” said Steve Delarge, acting CEO of American Standard Brands. “His vision and leadership will be instrumental in guiding the next phase of our Company’s core growth, and we are all very pleased to welcome him in this new role.”
