Canyon Creek Donates Cabinets For Disabled Veterans
December 20, 2010
Canyon Creek Cabinet Company donated the cabinetry for two new homes in Oregon built for veterans with serious disabilities and injuries. The homebuilding was spearheaded by Homes For Our Troops (HFOT), a national non-profit that raises money, and donates building materials and professional labor to build accessible homes for veterans.
Canyon Creek’s Cornerstone cabinets in the Legend door style in beech and in oak were chosen for the two homes, and all cabinetry provided by the company met ADA requirements. Richard Hoefer, of River Mill Cabinets, in Estacada, OR, a Canyon Creek dealer, also volunteered his time to install the cabinets in one of the homes.
“We feel privileged to help two great families who have sacrificed so much for our freedom and wish them the best in their new homes,” said Bill Weaver, president and CEO of Canyon Creek. “HFOT is a great program doing great work in taking care of our troops and we are proud to support them.”
