Elkay has announced the winners of its 2015 Kitchen Design of the Year, the company’s social media contest for designers to showcase their best work using Medallion Cabinetry.  

The Grand Prize Winner is Mark Wishnow, Wish Kitchens and Baths LLC, Hagerstown, MD.  Wishnow receives a $4,000 vacation package, a professional photo shoot of his winning kitchen, an iPad and the official title 2015 Medallion Kitchen Design of the Year. 

First runner up is Brett Shaffer, MidSouth Building Supply, Richmond, VA, and second runner up is Rich Coulton, Lakeville Kitchen & Bath, Lindenhurst, NY.  Shaffer and Coulton each receive a professional photo shoot of their winning kitchens and an iPad. 

More than 250 entries were submitted, and the final winners were selected by Facebook votes. 

“It was incredibly inspiring to see how Medallion was so beautifully showcased throughout the contest,” said Suzanne DeRusha, Elkay product innovation and design manager. “The winning entries demonstrated outstanding visual appeal, creativity and innovation in their overall kitchen workflow and design elements. All were truly outstanding design work.”
