KBISNeXT Bar Offers Opportunities to Connect, Collaborate and Comment

Designers attending the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS), happening January 19-21, will have the opportunity to meet and engage with fellow industry pros to learn about new trends, receive suggestions and inspiration for portfolios and receive tips on engaging their brand via social and traditional media platforms at the KBISNeXT Bar.

The KBISNeXT Bar is sponsored by Modenus Media, the internationally recognized resource platform for trade professionals and discerning homeowners.

“The KBISNeXT Bar experience provides design pros with a chance to meet face to face with editors for portfolio reviews and to meet up with Modenus community experts to learn about blogging, social media and the business of design,” said Veronika Miller, CEO and founder of Modenus Media.

Located in the South Hall of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Center, the KBISNeXT Bar will provide three full days of innovative programming:

Portfolio Reviews:

1st Session – 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, January 19

2nd Session – 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, January 20

3rd Session – 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 20

Join industry peers for a fun hour of Q&A about the future of blogging and social media and the business of design. Get helpful tips, dos and don’ts, and insights from the pros. Industry professionals interested in attending one of the time slots should register online.  

Showroom Critiques:

Tuesday, January 19, 1:30-2:30 p.m. 

Members of the Innovative Showroom Awards Advisory Board will meet with showroom designers looking for advice and guidance. This is an opportunity for anyone who is considering a showroom renovation or build-out to get commentary before embarking on the project. Industry voices and professionals, such as Chelsie Butler of K+BB and Tony Lutz and Mia Nicolaisen of retail showroom design firm ISI, to name a few, will provide 20 minutes of one-one-one feedback.

Exhibitor Social Media Meetup:

Thursday, January 21, 10:30-11:30 a.m.

Social media managers are invited to the first ever KBIS Social Media Manager Meetup for coffee and refreshments to discuss what has worked well, the buzz created and how to plan for yearlong brand interaction on social media platforms. The meetup is hosted by Leanne Wood, principal of Flying Camel Advertising, Design + PR who has led the KBIS Social Media team since KBIS 2013.

As a destination for discovering the next ideas, trends and innovations in the kitchen and bath industry KBISNeXT at KBIS 2016 will feature additional exhibitors and unique programming at the KBISNeXT Stage, including the Best of KBIS Awards, the Innovative Showroom Awards and the show’s newest award program, DesignBites. The area is also home to the FutureHAUS Bathroom presented by Virginia Tech.
