HomeZada, adding to its “Zada” AI Chat Assistant introduced in 2023, has launched the industry’s first AI-powered home remodel budgeting tool that allows homeowners and contractors to enter an infinite number of design-and-build expense variables to get a truly accurate labor and material cost estimate for any home project, ranging from a simple paint, roofing or landscaping job to a complete rebuild or add-on.

HomeZada’s new remodel budgeting tool allows homeowners to add their specific project details to one of 10 predeveloped project templates and then uses AI to create a total-project budget, including labor and materials, that is 90% accurate within minutes. These templates answer homeowners’ budget questions associated with the 10 most common home projects, including kitchens and bathrooms, and will continually be expanded.

Subscribers can indicate the caliber and brand of appliances, fixtures and other products; list their must-have features; and specify whether they will be using a contractor or building the project themselves.

For homeowners who aren’t yet sure what they want in a remodel, the AI feature in Zada will generate a list of relevant questions that will prompt owners to describe their desired ideal renovation in detail to instantly arrive at a realistic project price.

Available exclusively to HomeZada Premium and Deluxe subscribers, the new Al budgeting app follows last year’s introduction of the Zada AI Chat Assistant, crested to give homeowners the very latest home management advice; and highly localized, AI-powered severe-weather alerts developed using the National Weather Service (NWS). Additional AI enhancements are planned for the HomeZada digital home management platform.
