Houzz Releases Emmy-Inspired Home Designs
January 9, 2024
Home design and remodeling platform Houzz used the Houzz Pro business management and marketing software to create designs inspired by five of this year’s Emmy®-nominated television shows: The Bear, Ted Lasso, The White Lotus, Succession and Wednesday. Created with Houzz Pro’s 3D Floor Plan tool, every element was designed to capture the character of TV’s most talked-about shows. From the seaside luxury of an Italian getaway to the casual charm of a London flat, the designs relive the style from these programs while inspiring updates of viewers’ own spaces.
“Everything in the spaces – from the overall style to the individual furniture details – was chosen to reflect the personal styles of the main characters from these popular shows,” said Madison Holmlund, Houzz designer. “Using the 3D Floor Plan Tool in Houzz Pro, it’s easy to bring the rooms to life with unique design elements like the floating stairs in Shiv and Tom’s penthouse or the marble tile from the hotel in The White Lotus.”
While home professionals have a knack for visualizing a renovation or redesign during the planning phase, it can be a challenge for their clients. Cue the 3D Floor Plan tool from Houzz Pro. Professionals can use it to quickly and easily showcase their design ideas, helping move projects forward.
“Design and remodeling professionals love that the visual tools in Houzz Pro help bring their concepts to life, giving current or prospective clients the confidence to move forward with a project,” said Liza Hausman, Houzz vice president of industry marketing. “They also love how 3D floor plans connect with other tools in Houzz Pro. They can be added to mood boards or selections, toured in augmented reality on the mobile app, and used as a launchpad for takeoffs, estimates and proposals. It’s a game-changer for so many pros.”
Here’s a look at the designs from these Emmy-nominated shows:
Things are heating up inside this industrial-style kitchen with an eat-in dining booth (yes, chef!). Unlike Carmy’s personal kitchen, this oven isn’t storing any jeans. Get the look of this kitchen on the Houzz Shop.
This laid-back living room showcases a traditional-style living room where you might imagine the coach catching the latest football match.
The White Lotus
Relax in this luxurious spa-like bathroom inspired by the marble grandeur of San Domenico Palace – the backdrop for season two. Get the look from this bathroom on the Houzz Shop.
Wall-to-wall windows line this light-infused Tribeca penthouse, featuring a floating staircase and curved furniture lines, reflecting Shiv and Tom’s upscale style.
This design showcases the contrast of Enid Sinclair’s lively, colorful side and Wednesday’s dark, brooding side of their dorm room – capped with cathedral ceilings.
