Semihandmade Launches SemiStories

October 27, 2020

Semihandmade has just launched SemiStories, a new lifestyle and design resource for those looking to create the home of their dreams.  As an extension of their online community, SemiStories is a place to connect and get inspired. .

With the recent additions of industry heavyweights such as veteran publishing and home maven Beth Fuchs Brenner,  marketing specialist and brand builder Molly McDermott Walsh and content and social media guru Alyssa Clough, Semihandmade found itself uniquely positioned to provide an enhanced scope of value to their fans and those hungry for design content in general.

What: Sharing stories that make you feel—including all the messy, real emotions that accompany a renovation and the intense triumph that comes with making the right call. Also, we’ll be sharing tips from design experts on how to tackle your next project.

What makes this content unique to Semihandmade? Our kitchens and bathrooms are attainable, sustainable, American-made, and created to help facilitate the ultimate DIY. Each piece of content complements our focus on functionality and simple, yet out of the box ideas. Expect honest conversations with homeowners and designers, before & after transformations, solutions and advice to help you overcome common renovation problems.

Where did the inspiration for SemiStories come from? “We’ve worked hard over the last few years transitioning Semihandmade from a product-based maker of IKEA doors to a fully-realized lifestyle brand. Food 52 was and remains a huge inspiration; like them, we’ve been fortunate to build a strong and supportive community that has inspired us hopefully as much as we’ve inspired them. With SemiStories, we’re taking what we’ve learned over the last decade and broadening our reach with a platform built on great photography and writing, instructional columns and videos, and DIY projects that address not just the needs of your home, but your life. We couldn’t be more excited,” says John McDonald Founder & CEO of Semihandmade.
