ICFF South Florida Show Buzz

More than 200 exhibitors and 6,000 interior designers, architects, retailers and distributors will be pouring into the Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center for ICFF South Florida – the show for luxury home products. Happening Dec. 4-6, ICFF South Florida offers an opportunity to see innovative design trends from around the globe and attend interactive, educational programming led by the industry’s top designers and icons.

Positioned right on the show floor, ICFF Talks features a full slate of design visionaries and leaders sharing insight and knowledge as it relates to the interior design world. Here is the schedule of educational courses – some of which are CEU accredited – that attendees can look forward to during the show:
ColorMix Forecast 2019: Led by Sherwin-Williams, this course will take the participant on a visual journey with stimulating imagery, factual statistics and perceptive research that supports the 2019 forecast for color and design trends.
2-3:30 p.m., December 4
Designing for Miami’s Shared Living Future: This talk will look at the rise of micro-unit designs, amenity-laden common spaces and functional, multi-purpose design in the local area.
10:30-11:30 a.m., December 5
KEYNOTE – The Spirit of Place: Chad Oppenheim, a recipient of the Cooper Hewitt 2018 National Design Awards, will discuss his passion of blurring nature and architecture. His dynamic work connects on both a physical and spiritual contextual sensitivity, supported by evocative and economic design solutions that all serve to enhance life.
12 – 1:00 p.m., December 5
Looks Matter! The Important Role of Décor in Real Estate: Cheryl Eisen, founder and president of Interior Marketing Group, will discuss staging and do’s and don’ts and how design drives the real estate market.
1:30 – 2:30 p.m. December 5
It’s What’s Inside That Counts: This discussion will touch on recycling efforts and the social implications of our use of toxic ingredients.
3-4:00 p.m. December 5
