Noritz America, a leader in tankless water heating systems, has announced that Eric Ashley will take over the newly created position of senior product manager, effective December 2023. He will report directly to Akie Kurakata, vice president of planning and strategy. 

According to executive vice president-sales and marketing Jason Fleming, Ashley’s core mission will be to identify and develop future tankless water heating and boiler products and accessories for Noritz Group companies in North America. 

“Eric will be looking to maintain our brand’s technological leadership position in a rapidly changing landscape, as the industry responds to the upcoming regulatory changes in product efficiency,” said Fleming. 

Ashley has worked in the boiler and water heater field his entire 16-year professional career. He comes to Noritz from IBC Technologies Inc. USA (Lawnside, N.J.), where he served the past four years in product development. Before that, Ashley worked in marketing and product development at Takagi, A.O. Smith Corp. and Navien Inc. 

“The creation of this new product development position at Noritz and the recruitment of a seasoned industry veteran like Eric underlines Noritz’s commitment to remaining a leading innovator in tankless water heating and boiler technology in North America,” said Fleming.
