THG Paris Expands East Coast Division with Creation of Two Positions

December 27, 2017

THG Paris has announced the expansion of its East Coast team with two new hires: a Northeast regional manager, Emily Smith, and a manager of A&D development, Jonathan Britt. They will provide the support and resources needed to execute sales and training presentations of the brand’s designer collaborations and diverse product offerings. The new additions to the THG Paris team come after a successful launch earlier this year of the luxury brand’s flagship Design Center in the D&D Building in Manhattan.

Smith is responsible for developing business relationships with THG Paris’ dealer and distribution network in the Northeast, providing support such as leading regular showroom and dealer training, and serving as an official source to assist with project needs. Prior to joining THG Paris, Smith worked as a specifications representative for Wilsonart, where she was responsible for driving specification of Wilsonart product lines in Manhattan and Westchester County. Smith also served as a plumbing sales and design consultant at Simon’s Hardware & Bath, where she leveraged existing client bases to expand their purchasing beyond hardware and increase plumbing business for the company.

In his new position as manager of A&D development, Britt is responsible for building and strengthening relationships with Northeast architects and design firms. Before joining THG Paris, Britt handled sales and sales operations at Italian luxury furnishings house Nella Vetrina, where he implemented new sales techniques and developed new strategies targeting architects and designers.

“We are thrilled to welcome Emily and Jonathan to the THG Paris family,” said Pedro Uranga, North American director of THG Paris. “As we focus on expanding our relationships with the east coast A&D community and strengthening our connections with dealers, the unique skill sets these two bring to THG Paris will be key. We are proud to welcome them and are confident they will prosper as essential parts of our ever-growing team.”

Britt and Smith are based in THG Paris’ New York Design Center in the D&D Building.
