“We find Tabarka Studio’s handpainted terra-cotta tiles are a beautiful way to infuse old world artisan, yet completely timeless elegance to a room,” said architect Mindy O’Connor. “The Rue De Rosiers pattern can introduce color to the palette or geometry to the design without being fussy. Because their products are made to order, there is very minimal waste in the production process.” Photo credit: Sarah Millet

leather wrapped cabinet pulls

“Bathrooms and kitchens can sometimes feel cold due to the numerous appliances, stone surfaces and hardware required for their functions. I find these Leather-Wrapped Pulls from Turnstyle Designs inject warmth into the spaces, are inviting to hold and rich in texture. Overall, they are carbon negative.” Photo credit: Turnstyle Designs

shower fittings California faucets

Architect Mindy O’Connor said, “One of the things I appreciate about the Tiburon Collection of bath fittings by California Faucets is its 25 finish options; it provides an opportunity to really play with the room design and palette. With living, powder coat and PVD finishes like burnished brass, antique brass flat, polished nickel and graphite, it never inhibits other selections in the room.” Photo credit: California Faucets

ann sacks tile

“The Savoy Collection of ceramic tile from Ann Sacks is a favorite of mine for its unmatched versatility. We’ve used the penny rounds, subway tiles, 3 x 12s, hexagons, ribbed tiles, and a host of mosaic shapes including herringbone, offset brick, mini cross, hive and more. The tiles have 21% pre-consumer recycled content, including waste from discarded clay and smashed tableware.” Photo credit: Erin Kelly

bertazzoni range

Bertazzoni offers a wide range of striking colors for its Professional Series of induction ranges. This makes it easy to adapt them to any kitchen design style and adds a pretty focal point centered around cooking – the main function of the kitchen. I think the appliance is a great mix of timeless, streamlined aesthetics with forward-thinking but proven technologies,” said Mindy O’Connor. Photo credit: Bertazzoni

eagle woodworking kitchen cabinets

“In most kitchen storage situations, I prefer drawers to cabinets. These Eagle Woodworking Double Drawer Inserts allow for a clean look with a bank of deep, simple drawers but at the same maximize space within. A smaller internal slider on top provides a second drawer within, with the whole unit opening first with only one handle on the exterior.” Photo credit: Sarah Millet
